[Retribution] Application

Greetings Kebab,
Let me first applaud you for the brilliant name, albeit me being a vegetarian, I don't hope this will ruin my chances :-)
IRL:
Name:
Mark Koch
Residence:
Copenhagen, Denmark
Age:
22
Occupation:
Sergeant in the Royal Lifeguard
In-game
Kochelicous the Retribution Paladin
http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/character/dragonblight/Kochelicious/simple
My choice of specialization is Retribution as previously stated, and for my off-specialization I run PVP-spec for the odd hours that I haven't got anything better to do.
My career as Retribution is rather brief, in fact it has only been since the launch of Mists of Pandaria to be perfectly honest.
Previously I spent a lot of time on my Feral Druid that has been my main for most of my eight years spent in this game, but after a longer break in Cataclysm due to military duty in Afghanistan, I came back with a need of a new experience, whereas Retribution was my decision. :-)
My guild career is not staggeringly long, but the few guilds I have previously been in have for the most part disbanded throughout WotLK and Cataclysm.
The only currently existing guild is a remade of my old guild <Devious Intentions> on Doomhammer where the majority of that guild merged with another guild that is now known as <QuestionableEthics>.
http://www.wowprogress.com/guild/eu/doomhammer/Questionable+Ethics
Unfortunately I didn't get to merge a long with them as that was around the time I was was leaving for the "Golden Sands".
Reasons as to why I believe I am a right addition to your 10-man roster are:
- I'm a fast learner, meaning that I seldom make the same mistake twice(thus far only one in my current guild <Shadow Forest> to never have missed an Opportunistic Strike) - even if that doesn't say a lot I realise.
- I'm very vocal in situations where this is required, and will hopefully be able to take some stress of other raiders if they happen to have other tasks to fulfill at that given encounter that would require their full attention.
- My raiding experience is large:
Vanilla: Raided with a guild on Silvermoon up untill 4HM in Naxxramas40 where the guild started to fall apart due to disstress over whiping for several weeks.
TBC: Raided with a guild on Turalyon and cleared all content pre-nerf bar Kil'Jaeden, and was for the most part Realm Rank 2 behind the currently existing guild <The Last Watch>. I was in a guild named <Vision> which now is mainly represented in the reformatted guild <Pure> on the same realm.

http://www.wowprogress.com/guild/eu/turalyon/Pure
WotLK: Continued to raid with <Vision> up until ToC where I lost some of my interest since I found that content extremely dissappointing, especially since the, in my opinion, very succesful Ulduar content was just before that. Additionally I was forced to slow down on attendance since I started in the military.
Cataclysm: I have barely played this expansion due to military service, so all the clears I did was always several Tiers too late, so it doesn't really count :-)
MoP: Thus far I started in Shadow Forest with a reference from a previous Solar Wind member, but I quickly realised that Shadow Forest can't provide what I want.
I'm doing very decent on the DPS charts as a result of my research in the class, and unquestionably am always prepared with the different consumables that are required.
Furthermore, I'm not really sure what else I should cover other than that I heard from Triffian that you were in need of a paladin. Additionally, your raid schedule seems very reasonable, and I'm confident that I should be able to sustain atleast 75% attendance, given the marginal uncertainty of unwanted phone calls from my boss at strange hours of the day.
Last time I did an application was in TBC, and that is a lot of years ago, so if there are ANY further information you need to know about "Teh Kochelicious", that you think that I haven't covered thoroughly enough, please let me know and I will fill you in with the best of my knowledge :-)
Kind regards,
Mark Koch

Hey Kochelicous
your application seems fine, there is however one more thing I'd like to know a bit about. I was wondering if you have any healing experience? What we really need is a player who can play 2 specs very well so we are able to adapt to specific fights for best possible setups.

I may as well come clean straight off the bat, otherwise it will definitely bite me in the back for the future.
No, I don't have any raid-healing experiences.
Naturally, I was Restoration Druid back in Vanilla when Feral was a horrific specialization, but as soon as TBC hit, I was requested to join the DPS ranks, and I guess I haven't considered Healing since, as it wasn't needed :-)
Kind regards,
Mark Koch

Hey,
We can offer you a trial spot if you want to raid with us, we cannot guarantee you a spot on all kills especially latest heroic ones but you will get your fair share.
If still interested whisper me for in invite for Wednesday.
